Quickly, before POTUS starts kicking asses

Is it just me, or does the phrase “kicking ass” muttered by Obama bring to mind Urkel’s craziest fantasies?

Just sayin’.

A few good reads that perked up my two cups of much needed why-won’t-my-toddler-sleep coffee, with extra whipped cream and cinnamon in honor of a friend, starting with my favorite:

Obama warns high school graduates not to blame others for their messes.  Seriously.   Allahpundit notes:

Stirring words, my friends, from a guy who, by Charles Krauthammer’s account, had already blamed Bush by October last year for “the economy, global warming, the credit crisis, Middle East stalemate, the deficit, anti-Americanism abroad — everything but swine flu.” In fact, it was only three weeks ago that Politico reported the Democrats’ midterm campaign macro-strategy will be to run against — ta da — George Bush. A serious question while you watch: Aside from the oil spill, for which he was finally forced to take responsibility after six weeks of conspicuously doing jack, is there any problem that he hasn’t tried to fob off on the GOP to one extent or another? By 2012, he’ll be blaming the public’s hatred of ObamaCare on the fact that Republicans wouldn’t compromise and agree to a bill that everyone can love.

Head over to Hot Air for the footage if you can stomach it.  (Though the shots of the kid snoozing behind POTUS is rather humorous.)

Picture of the day, h/t Pundette, Ashton Kutcher, the 7mpg Environmentalist.

Tell me what I don’t already know: Spill reveals Obama’s lack of executive experience.  Despite my snark over the headline, it’s a worthy read from Byron York (as always).

Surprise, surprise, surprise: it turns out that liberals really don’t understand economics.  Heh.  Courtesy Hot Air headlines.

Sad but true (that’s why we passed the bill, ya know, to find out what’s in it!): Obamacare to wipe out insurance for a million low-income workers.  I wish some of my liberal friends would take note of reality.

  1. So glad you’re back!

    • It’s nice to be back. It implies we’re completely unpacked and in a routine again, which is mostly true ; ) Thanks for the link!
