Brew me up another cup, please

Ah, the bennies of java keep adding up. Via Reuters:

People who regularly drink tea or coffee may be less likely to be carriers of the “superbug” MRSA, according to a U.S. study.

Out of more than 5,500 Americans who took part in a government study published in the Annals of Family Medicine, those who drank hot tea or coffee were about half as likely as non-drinkers to harbor methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in their nostrils.

They know not what it means, of course. But that’s ok. Just drink up!

  1. I keep telling people on the health benefits of coffee, but so many refuse to believe me. Anyway, I’ve got to admit I’ve become an addict. I need a few cups a day.
