If no one’s left with a job or money, it’s much harder to build a “collective” dream

Hence that push to spin jobs out of thin air.

Stimulus again. $450 billion more of what we don’t have. More of the same. Makes me glad I was at the park, making dinner and putting the kid to bed rather than screaming at the radio at every lie. (It’s paid for, eh? Even the AP analysis is scathing).

More disturbing than the lies: the contempt with which the President sneered at the notion of American individualism in praise of the collective.
